Who We Are

KD Island Management is owned and managed by Kaleo Warfield and Debra Miles. We were born and raised in Hawaii and have shared the “spirit of aloha” and Hawaii’s rich culture with many visitors from around the world. We would like to extend this style of hospitality to you, your guests, and your home.

Debra has been in the hospitality industry for over twenty years.  She’s been a manager at the five-diamond properties of the Ritz Carlton Mauna Lani and the Four Seasons Hualalai. Most recently, Debra was a personal concierge for the Hualalai Resort where she had the privilege of meeting and working with many private home owners from around the world. Relationships were formed and Debra naturally developed strong bonds with many of the home owners who in turn gave her a better sense of their expectations and needs while visiting and residing on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Kaleo worked in the financial industry for seven years before and after graduating from the University of Hawaii. Hoping to experience more, Kaleo got a management position with the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Since then she has managed various departments in the hospitality industry for nearly ten years. Kaleo was most recently with the prestigious Four Seasons Hualalai as a Wedding and Catering Manager. Planning events and catering to Four Seasons well traveled guests was a challenging, but gratifying experience. It gave her better insight to the high expectations and needs of the seasoned and well traveled visitors. Service was always first class and nothing less was delivered.
